Council in Committee

Haldimand County operates under the Council in Committee System, which  provides an opportunity for matters to be considered in a less formal, committee framework where resulting recommendations are passed on to the Council meeting for ratification. The committee agenda is structured according to Business Divisions which reflect the organizational structure of the County.  Meetings are scheduled on a 3-week cycle.

Council in Committee meetings are held at 9:30 AM on the Tuesday prior to the scheduled Council meeting. See Meeting Schedule.

To request a copy of a Council or Council in Committee meeting recording, please complete a DVD Request Form and submit it to any County Office for processing.

Please ensure that your name (printed clearly) and contact information (address, telephone number or e-mail address) are included.
