Haldimand County Police Services Board
Municipal policing services are requried by provincial legislation to be governed by a Police Services Board
Determines local objectives and priorities for police after consultation with Detachment Commander

Service Delivery
Policing in Haldimand County has been contracted out to the Ontario Provincial Police
The OPP carries out the formal policing in Haldimand County as per a five year Contract with the Province

Community Policing Committees
Volunteers in the community help promote public safety and crime prevention by focusing on the specific needs of an area and by providing programming to address those needs |
Business Planning is completed each year. The yearly plan is developed jointly by the OPP, the Police Services Board and the Community Policing Committees. The objective of all is to ensure Haldimand County is a safe and comfortable area to live and visit.
