Paramedic Services Week

PARAMEDIC SERVICES WEEK – May 24-30, 2015

Paramedic Services Week is an opportunity to acknowledge all of the hard work paramedics perform across Ontario for people in need. Their knowledge, skill and quick judgment are why they are vital to our healthcare system.

Haldimand County will be taking part in this year’s celebration with an Paramedic Services Week event being held Saturday May 23, 2015, at Foodland in Cayuga, 4923 Hwy # 3, Cayuga between 11:00 and 2:00.  There will be a barbeque and paramedics will be on site to showcase their skills, answer questions and give tours of the ambulance and equipment.

Also during the week of May 24-30, Haldimand County EMS will be holding two open houses: one on Tuesday May 26, at the new EMS station in Hagersville, 124 Main St S. and the second on Thursday, May 28 at the new EMS station in Cayuga, 11 Thorburn St S.  Both events run from 11:00 – 2:00. Staff will be on hand to give tours of the station, ambulances and equipment.
